Driver’s License – Emergency Room Visit

Here we are once again – I have written and you are reading! On Wednesday, August 1, I was on the bus to Penonome (pronounced PEN – ah – no – may) at 6:30 AM to get to the driver’s license office when they opened at 8:00. Jose could not meet me this time, so it was Phyllis on her own with papers, very little Spanish ability and they do NOT speak English!!!! Fun Times for all. read more…

Trivia – Bureaucracy of Panama

In the last newsletter, I forgot to include a picture of the view from my balcony at Vista Mar, so here it is . I look out over part of the golf course, an older building closer to the water and the beautiful Pacific Ocean farther out. Really is beautiful to look at almost anytime of the day or evening.
